Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Wednesday reported 230 fresh cases pushing the number of active cases to 3,683 while no death was reported in the last 24 hours in the UT.
With no more deaths, the death toll in J&K stands at 4,745 and 230 fresh positive cases reported on Wednesday have pushed the tally of positive cases to 451,560.
Officials said that among 230 new cases, 104 belong to Kashmir division while as 126 are from Jammu division, adding that the total number of positive cases in Kashmir division have reached to 286,582 including 282,098 recoveries and 2,422 deaths while as total number of positive cases in Jammu division have reached to 164,978 including 161,034 recoveries and 2,323 deaths.
The officials said that the total number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 3,683 including 2,062 from Kashmir division and 1,621 from Jammu division.
With 827 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached 443,132 which is 98.13 percent of the total cases.
“Cases tested positive in J&K include 50 from Srinagar, 08 from Baramulla, 14 from Budgam, 03 from Pulwama, 18 from Kupwara, 03 from Anantnag, 05 from Bandipora, 02 from Ganderbal, 00 from Kulgam and 01 Shopian in Kashmir division while as 126 from Jammu division include 54 from Jammu district, 08 from Udhampur, 03 from Rajouri, 39 from Doda, 03 from Kathua, 00 from Samba, 01 from Kishtwar, 09 from Poonch, 09 from Ramban and 00 from Reasi,” officials disclosed.
Meanwhile, authorities said that no fresh cases of Mucormycosis popularly known as black fungus was reported in the UT and the tally stands at 51.
As per officials figures, 101,983 positive cases including 907 deaths and 10,018 recoveries are from Srinagar, 37,519 including 304 deaths and 37,018 recoveries are from Baramulla, 34,751 including 34,399 recoveries and 237 deaths are from Budgam, 18,406 including 18,160 recoveries and 201 deaths are from Pulwama, 21,666 including 174 deaths and 21,235 recoveries are from Kupwara, 22,398 including 22,049 recoveries and 219 deaths are from Anantnag, 13,639 cases including 13,430 and 118 deaths are from Bandipora, 13,622 including 13,463 recoveries and 84 deaths are from Ganderbal, 16,294 including 16,148 recoveries and 118 deaths are from Kulgam and 6,304 including 6,178 recoveries and 60 deaths are from Shopian.
In Jammu division, 75,566 including 73,697 recoveries and 1,222 deaths are from Jammu district, 14,695 including 14,498 recoveries and 147 deaths are from Udhampur, 12,780 including 12,487 recoveries and 248 deaths are from Rajouri, 11,230 including 11,618 recoveries and 144 deaths are from Doda, 11,345 including 11,083 recoveries and 166 deaths are from Kathua, 9,068 including 8,890 recoveries and 125 deaths are from Samba, 5,836 including 5,750 recoveries and 45 deaths are from Kishtwar, 7,721 including 7,566 recoveries and 109 deaths are from Poonch, 8,049 including 7,863 recoveries and 69 deaths are from Ramban and 8,688 including 8,582 recoveries and 48 deaths are from Reasi.
As per the daily information bulletin 6,004,757 persons in Jammu and Kashmir are under observation while 31,703 persons have been kept under home quarantine besides that 3,683 persons are in isolation.
According to the bulletin, 5,521,024 persons have completed the surveillance period and 443,602 persons are under home surveillance besides that so far results of 22,546,263 samples are available. Out of 22,546,263 the number of samples tested negative stands at 22,094,703 while as 451,560 have tested positive, among them 3,683 persons are active, 443,132 persons have recovered and 4,745 persons have died.
