KATHUA, AUGUST 19: The District Level Task Force Committee met here today to review loan applications under J&K Rural Employment Generation Programme (JKREGP).
The meeting was chaired by Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Surinder Mohan at the DC Office complex.
The Committee securitised the applications posted online by the unemployed youth of the district seeking loan under the J&K Rural Employment Generation Programme (JKREGP) to set up ventures across different sectors. The scheme is being implemented by J&K Khadi & Village Industries Board.
After scrutinizing 71 applications, the Committee approved 45 cases found complete in all respects. Among the rest, 24 applicants were absent, 1 application was rejected and another was deferred for the next meeting.
General Manager DIC Mushtaq Chaudhary; District Officer KVIB Surinder Paul Sharma; LDM SBI Kathua, Superintendent ITI Kathua Cluster Head J&K Bank and J&K Grameen Bank attended the meeting.
