KATHUA, SEPTEMBER 17: The ongoing Kathua Football League 2026, a flagship youth engagement initiative of the district administration Kathua under the Nasha Mukt Abhiyan, witnessed two competitive encounters today at the Sports Ground, GDC Kathua.
In the first match, DPS and Khelo India played out a closely contested 0-0 draw, with both teams putting up a disciplined display and keeping their respective defences intact throughout the encounter.
The second match witnessed an emphatic performance by FC UK, which registered a convincing 5-0 victory over Shadow Strikers. Navneet emerged as the star performer, netting a hat-trick with three goals, while Figo added two goals to complete the comprehensive win for FC UK.
The matches witnessed enthusiastic participation of young footballers, who displayed skill, teamwork, discipline and competitive spirit on the field.
