ANANTNAG, FEBRUARY 29: KVK-Anantnag, SKUAST-Kashmir organised an Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme (EAP) on ‘Entrepreneurial Opportunities in Strengthening Agricultural Marketing in District Anantnag’ for Entrepreneurship Development at KVK-campus Dooru sponsored by Ministry of Micro, Small Medium Enterprises (MSME), GOI, New Delhi.
Dr. Ishtiyaq A. Khan, Head, KVK-Anantnag underscored the significance of conducting such programmes with the emphasis on the importance of instilling an entrepreneurial spirit.
He delivered a comprehensive lecture highlighting entrepreneurship opportunities in the Marketing sector, showcasing successful entrepreneurs nurtured by the Kendra, and expressing gratitude to MSME for the support.
Dr. Shabeer A. Ganaie, Scientist, Agri-Economics and Training Coordinator of EAP, emphasized pivotal strategies for enhancing marketing practices, ensuring young entrepreneurs comprehended its significance.
The event was also attended by Officers/officials of Horticulture and education department who provided insights into various schemes aimed at assisting aspiring entrepreneurs for developing their businesses.
The programme was attended by more than 75 farmers, mostly aspiring entrepreneurs and school students.
