Bandipora, November 04: To create awareness on Natural Farming, KVK Bandipora organized a programme at Kootasatri, a tribal village of Bandipora in which farmers, farm women and rural youth participated.
Speaking on the occasion Programme Coordinator KVK Bandipora, Dr Tariq Sultan said that in an era where sustainability and environmental consciousness are paramount, our Kendra is proud to launch a comprehensive awareness campaign on “Natural Farming.”
Natural Farming is not just a farming practice; it is a commitment to a healthier planet, better food quality, and sustainable agriculture.
Dr Tahir Saleem, Subject Matter Specialist while addressing the audience said that Natural Farming is an agricultural approach that emphasizes minimal intervention, reduced use of synthetic chemicals, and a profound connection to the natural environment.
By raising awareness about this method, we aim to promote the numerous benefits it offers to our communities and our world.
The benefits of Natural Farming are numerous, including improved soil health, reduced water usage, lower carbon emissions, and the production of healthier, chemical-free food. By promoting Natural Farming, we hope to contribute to a sustainable future for generations to come.
Programme Coordinator appealed people of the district to join us in spreading awareness about Natural Farming and helping create a more environmentally friendly and resilient agricultural system.
