Leopard Kills Minor Girl in Gopalpora Anantnag

Srinagar: A 6-year-old girl was killed in a leopard attack in Gopalpora village of Mattan area in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district this evening, reports and officials said.

Reports reaching GNS said that one Zubaida Jan daughter of Ghulam Mohuiddin Chopan, was pounced upon by a leopard while she was outside her home. Alerted by the cries, the family and locals tried to come to her rescue, however the beast left the girl with critical injuries leading to her death.

A police official has in the meantime also confirmed the incident to GNS. (GNS)
