SRINAGAR, MAY 20: On the eve of ‘World Metrology Day-2024’ celebrated annually on 20th May across the world, a seminar was today organized by Legal Metrology Department (LMD) Kashmir at Government Girls Higher Secondary School (GGHSS) Nawakadal Srinagar to commemorate the day.
The theme for this year is ‘Sustainability in Measurement.’ The accuracy of measurements plays a vital role in our day to day activities.
During the seminar, students were educated about the essence of the accurate measurements vis-a-vis weights and measures which are used in trade, commerce and for protection of human health.
