REASI, APRIL 03: In anticipation of forthcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024, a comprehensive training session was organized today for zonal/ sectoral Magistrates under the guidance of District Election Officer, Vishesh Mahajan at conference hall of DC office here.
Speaking on the occasion, District Election Officer reiterated the unwavering commitment to ensure the integrity and transparency of the electoral process. He emphasized strict adherence to election rules outlined by the Election Commission of India (ECI), underscoring the paramount importance of maintaining a fair and equitable electoral environment for all stakeholders.
During the session, magistrates were briefed on their crucial roles and responsibilities. Special attention was given to enforcement of law and order, supervision of polling stations, and guaranteeing the safety and security of voters throughout the electoral proceedings.
Notable officials present at the event included Nodal officer for MCC, Kulbhushan Khajuria, Nodal officer for Training, Mohammad Anwar Banday, ARO 57-Reasi, Anshumali Sharma, Deputy District Election Officer, Rakesh Kumar and Master Trainer, among other officers.
