RAMBAN, DECEMBER 2: The Municipal Council Ramban, under the aegis of Deputy Commissioner Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, successfully organized a 15-day Pakhwada ‘SVANidhi Bhi, Swabhiman Bhi’ campaign across the town from November 18 to December 02, 2024.

The campaign aimed to accelerate progress in key areas, including loan disbursement, SVANidhi se Samriddhi, and digital adoption, ensuring broader coverage of the PM-SVANidhi scheme.

A culmination function held at the Community Hall Ramban marked the conclusion of this initiative. Chief Executive Officer Sudarshan Jamwal, Medical Superintendent District Hospital Dr Virender Trisal, and BMO Ukhral Dr. Mohd Iqbal sensitized vendors and other participants about various schemes integrated into the ‘SVANidhi Bhi, Swabhiman Bhi’ campaign.

They said that this campaign was conducted by the administration to empower street vendors and ensure their financial inclusion and dignity through comprehensive support and awareness initiatives.

Participants were provided detailed information and guidance on availing benefits from multiple schemes, including Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, One Nation One Ration Card, Janani Suraksha Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Mandhan Yojana and Registration under BOCW

Representatives from various banks also guided participants on regulating financial assistance under the PM-SVANidhi scheme. On-the-spot registrations for these schemes were facilitated by the respective departments.
In addition, registration cards issued by the Municipal Council Ramban were distributed among eligible vendors during the event.
