DODA, AUGUST 07: Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh (IAS), today interacted with media representatives at the Mini Conference Hall, DC Office Complex, to discuss the upcoming Tiranga Rally and Independence Day celebrations. SSP Doda, Sandeep Kumar Mehta, also attended the session.
The interaction was attended by District Information Officer Tariq Qazi, officials from the District Information Centre, and representatives from various media outlets.
The DC acknowledged the media’s role and urged them to ensure responsible and accurate coverage of official events, avoiding misinformation and promoting harmony. He informed that the Tiranga Rally will be held on AUGUST 12 and encouraged full media support in promoting patriotism.
The SSP also addressed the gathering, calling on the media to spread messages of peace and communal harmony through their platforms.
The session concluded with a shared commitment between the administration and media to ensure peaceful and meaningful celebrations.
