MLA, PCCF inaugurate Biodiversity Park Cum Nagar Van at Sukral

KATHUA, DECEMBER 27: Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Billawar Satish Kumar Sharma and Principal Chief Conservator of Forests & HoFF J&K Suresh Kumar Gupta inaugurated the newly developed Biodiversity Park cum Nagar Van at Sukral- Billawar Forest Division here the other day.

Speaking on the occasion, the Member Legislative Assembly commended the efforts of the Forest Department for developing a green space near the Pilgrimage of Mata Sukrala.

The PCCF, while addressing the gathering, highlighted the works being undertaken by the Forest Department in the Division. He exhorted the Forest Department functionaries to put in their best efforts to protect the green wealth and wildlife.

Later, the Member Legislative Assembly & the Pr. Chief Conservator of Forests inspected the progress of up-gradation work at Neta Ji Subash Chander Bose Park-Phinter.

Earlier, the PCCF inspected progress of up-gradation work at Challan Nursery, development of Eco-Park at Chown, development of awareness centre at Totali Park & up-gradation of inspection Hut at Nagrota Gujroo.

Member District Development Council Nagrota Gujroo, N.D Tripathi; Conservator of Forests East Circle Jammu, Pradeepchandra P. Wahule; Additional Deputy Commissioner Billawar, Vinay Khosla; Divisional Forest Officer Billawar, Divisional Forest Officer Basohli, Deputy Director Forest Protection Force, Gamma Unit J-04, Billawar & staff of Forest Division, Billawar accompanied the PCCF.
