JAMMU, APRIL 06: Mohammad Aslam today took over as Commandant, SDRF 2nd Battalion Jammu succeeding Zahid Naseem Manhas, now serving as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Railways, J&K.
On assuming office, he emphasized strengthening SDRF’s operational efficiency-in disaster management and emergency response through enhanced preparedness, coordination and capacity building. He expressed confidence in further reinforcing its role in safeguarding lives and property.
He also conveyed his best wishes to the outgoing Commandant for his future endeavor’s and appreciated his valuable contributions. On the occasion, the outgoing Commandant now as DIG, Railways, J&K appreciated the role of SDRF during his tenure and extended a warm welcome to the new Commandant.
