RAMBAN, AUGUST 25: The District Administration Ramban, led by Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Alyas Khan, today virtually joined a program held at Srinagar, presided over by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah. The programme was organized by the J&K Rehabilitation Council.
At the district level, the event witnessed the participation of MLA Banihal Sajjad Shaheen; ADC Varunjeet Singh Charak; ACR Shokat Hayat Mattoo; district officers, beneficiaries, and locals. The highlight of the event was the distribution of motorized tricycles among identified specially-abled beneficiaries.
During the program, the MLA Banihal, Deputy Commissioner and other government functionaries handed over motorized tricycles to 26 beneficiaries, enabling them to move freely, pursue education, livelihood, and social activities with greater dignity.
Beneficiaries expressed gratitude, describing the support as life-changing.
