Udhampur: A photography and videography course was conducted at Udhampur on Wednesday for the selected soldiers of Northern Command in collaboration with Press Club Jammu and Doordarshan, Jammu.
As per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), prominent journalist and Bureau Chief of UNI Jammu, Vishal Bharti, representing the Press Club Jammu addressed the participants on 21 September 2022. He imparted field knowledge to the soldiers and made them aware about critical details of photography and videography, to further strengthen healthy communication and messaging to media for effective nation building.
Defence journalist Yogesh Sagotra and PRO Defence Col Abhinav Navneet also presented during the workshop.
During the workshop the soldiers will be taught the nuances of still & video photography with different angles and frames, taking an ideal shoot along with introduction to various facets of making a good film.
The course has been conceptualized by Headquarters Northern Command keeping in mind the need for the real image of J&K and Ladakh which has been obscured due to years of violence, to be clearly visible again.
The valedictory function of the photography and Videography short term course will be held at Udhampur on 30 September 2022—(KNO)
