The Nowshera Forest Division organized a series of plantation drives at the forest block level, with Block Forest Officers convening meetings with local participants to stress the importance of World Forestry Day 2024, themed "Forests and Innovation: New Solutions for a Better World." Mrs. Shweta Deonia, Divisional Forest Officer of Nowshera, celebrated World Forests Day on this theme under the guidance of Sandeep Kumar,
Conservator of Forests West Circle Rajouri. Dr. Rakesh Verma, Range Officer of Sunderbani, addressed participants, emphasizing the conservation of medicinal and aromatic plants both in-situ and ex-situ, as well as their protection using locally available materials.
Additionally, Anil Bhagat, RO of Nowshera, and Sudesh Kumar, RO of Lamberi, conducted plantation drives and created fire breaks with public participation. Mrs. Shweta also demonstrated innovative methods to combat forest fires and promote the use of locally available materials for creating livelihood opportunities for rural communities.

नौशेरा वन प्रभाग ने वन ब्लॉक स्तर पर वृक्षारोपण अभियानों की एक श्रृंखला आयोजित की, जिसमें
ब्लॉक वन अधिकारियों ने विश्व वानिकी दिवस 2024 के महत्व पर जोर देने के लिए स्थानीय प्रतिभागियों के
साथ बैठकें बुलाईं, जिसका विषय था "वन और नवाचार: एक बेहतर दुनिया के लिए नए समाधान।" नौशेरा की
प्रभागीय वन अधिकारी श्रीमती श्वेता देवनिया ने वन संरक्षक पश्चिम वृत्त राजौरी संदीप कुमार के मार्गदर्शन में

इस थीम पर विश्व वन दिवस मनाया। सुंदरबनी के रेंज अधिकारी डॉ. राकेश वर्मा ने प्रतिभागियों को संबोधित
करते हुए इन-सीटू और एक्स-सीटू दोनों औषधीय और सुगंधित पौधों के संरक्षण के साथ-साथ स्थानीय स्तर पर
उपलब्ध सामग्रियों का उपयोग करके उनके संरक्षण पर जोर दिया। इसके अतिरिक्त, नौशेरा के आरओ अनिल
भगत और लम्बेरी के आरओ सुदेश कुमार ने सार्वजनिक भागीदारी के साथ वृक्षारोपण अभियान चलाया और आग
बुझाने का काम किया। श्रीमती श्वेता ने जंगल की आग से निपटने और ग्रामीण समुदायों के लिए आजीविका के
अवसर पैदा करने के लिए स्थानीय रूप से उपलब्ध सामग्रियों के उपयोग को बढ़ावा देने के लिए नवीन तरीकों का
भी प्रदर्शन किया।
