One day zonal level orientation cum training programme on school safety held at Doda

DODA, MAY 03: One day Zonal level training cum orientation programme on school safety under Samagra Shiksha was organised for Zone Bhagwah and Zone Doda, here today.
The programme was conducted in ZEO Office Bhagwah and conference hall of Chief Education Office Doda.
Teachers of Bhagwah and Doda educational zones of District Doda participated in the programme at their respective locations.
The program was inaugurated by Zonal Education Officers of concerned Zonal areas.
During the program the teachers were sensitized about safety of children in the schools through various means and measures.
The objective of the training was to generate awareness amongst teachers on how to make schools safe and secure zone for students and to highlight their roles and responsibilities.
Teachers, Tanveer Ahmed, Barinder Singh, Mohsin Anayat Natnoo, Mohammad Yousaf acted as resource persons for the twin programmes. They highlighted the importance of preparing a school Disaster Management Plan. They also highlighted the safety and precautionary measures to be adopted in the schools to avoid any kind of hazards.
The participants were also given certificates of participation by Zonal Education Officer Bhagwah and Doda.
At the conclusion of the programme, respective Zonal Education Officers urged the participants to implement the learning outcomes of the training program in schools in letter and spirit so that the benefits reach to students.
