GANDERBAL, MAY 30: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, the Sakhi One Stop Centre (OSC) Ganderbal, implemented by SHSFWE, organized an awareness camp at Rayil block Kangan.
The Centre Administrator of OSC informed the participants about the various services provided by the One Stop Centre, including immediate rescue and response, legal aid, police assistance, medical facilitation, and psychosocial counseling for distressed women.
Additionally, the Administrator highlighted the importance of the Sakhi Club and its coordination with other departments such as the District Hub for Empowerment of Women (DHEW), Women Cell, District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), and Women Development Corporation (WDC).
A social worker from the Women Cell also educated the participants about the services their department offers.
The camp concluded on a positive note with participants engaging in a Question and Answer session, which addressed their queries satisfactorily.
