Srinagar, Jun 12 : As an event for sports enthusiasts in the region, Kashmir saw the introduction of pickle ball with the first-ever demo and clinic held at WHS Sports Hub in Sonwar Bagh, Srinagar.
The event, organized by Franklin Sports, a leading sports equipment company from the USA, marks the establishment of Jammu & Kashmir’s first pickleball court.
As per the details gathered by the news agency, the clinic was conducted by Manish Rao, Pickleball Pro and Director of Franklin, India.
“Participants had the opportunity to learn the basics of the game, understand its rules, and gain valuable insights from experienced players. The event attracted a diverse group of attendees, eager to explore this rapidly growing sport.”
Pertinently, Pickleball, which combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis, is gaining popularity worldwide for its engaging and accessible nature, appealing to players of all ages and skill levels.
