SRINAGAR, AUGUST 09: According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, in order to carry out ACSR stringing, shutdown of 33KV Badampora Kurhama Dab line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Kurhama, Dab, GCET, Sainik School shall remain off while power supply to Kurhama, Youngpora, Baroosa, Old Dab, Checki Baba, Sainik School, Rabitar, Kondbal, GCET Safapora and adjoining areas will be affected from 08:00 AM to 01:00 PM on 11 August, 2025.
Also in order to carry out the work of Branch cutting/ stabilization work, shutdown of 33 KV Potushai Gurez line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Dawar, Gurez shall remain off while power supply to Dawar, Wanpora, Tragbal, NHPC and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on 10 & 16 August, 2025.
Similarly, in order to facilitate corridor for proposed 11 KV Pencil Village Oukhoo, the shutdown of 33 KV Pampore-Pulwama line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Newa, Kakapora, LIS Marvel-I, II, III & IV shall remain off while power supply to Kakapora, Pohoo, Nehama, Newa, Gadoora, Parigam and adjoining areas will be affected from 08:00 AM to 01:00 PM on 11 & 17 August, 2025.
