RAJOURI, DECEMBER 18: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma today held a press conference to brief media persons about the one-week ‘Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore’ campaign being organised under Good Governance Week which is scheduled to commence on December 19 and continue till December 25 across the district.

The Deputy Commissioner informed that 43 public service and grievances redressal camps would be organised in different blocks and tehsils of the district during the campaign period. The initiative aims to redress pending grievances, strengthen last-mile governance and bring about tangible improvements in service delivery.

The DC said that a wide range of services will be made available at these camps, including facilities from banks, Common Service Centres (CSCs), Aadhaar centres, along with awareness generation and on-the-spot implementation of various government schemes.

He added that a detailed calendar of camps has been issued well in advance to ensure maximum participation of the general public. Officers from concerned departments will be deputed at block and panchayat levels to ensure prompt redressal of public grievances at the grassroots, he said.

The Deputy Commissioner further informed that the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) will monitor the campaign. Citizens who are unable to attend the camps can also register their grievances on the JK Samadhan portal.

DC Rajouri urged the general public to actively participate in the campaign and avail the services being provided at their doorsteps.
