SRINAGAR, AUGUST 27: Minister for Jal Shakti, Javed Ahmed Rana accompanied by Advisor to Chief Minister, Nasir Aslam Wani, legislator Ahsan Pardesi and senior officers of Irrigation & Flood Control department visited Rajbagh, to assess the flood situation.
They also interacted with the locals and listened to their concerns. While interacting with the locals, they assured them that government is continuously monitoring the evolving situation and keeping a close vigil on the water levels of river Jhelum.
Rana assured that all the departments have been put on a state of high alert to carry out all contingency plans and provide all necessary assistance in case of any emergency.
said that men and machinery has been fully geared to tackle any emergency with swiftness.
