POONCH, APRIL 06: Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment, and Tribal Affairs, Javed Ahmed Rana, today lauded the significant contribution of Jamia Muhammadia Qasimul Uloom in promotion of education, moral values and social reformation in the society.

He made these remarks during his visit to the institution at Seeri Khawaja in Poonch where he held a detailed dialogue with the management and intellectuals regarding the integration of religious and contemporary education.

Administrator, Maulana Muhammad Abdullah, outlined the Jamia’s academic framework, its diverse community outreach and its long-standing commitment towards advancing Islamic studies across the region.

Javed Rana praised the management for maintaining rigorous academic standards while instilling a strong sense of discipline and service in its students. “Jamia Muhammadia Qasimul Uloom has become a cornerstone of learning and playing a pivotal role in fostering both intellectual and social awareness,” he maintained.

The Minister lauded the Jamia’s expansion plans, describing them as a necessary step to meet the community’s growing educational needs. He underscored the importance of a balanced education, urging the faculty to continue mentoring the youth by blending the traditional knowledge with modern scientific understanding.

Rana reaffirmed his commitment to such initiatives, assuring that institutions dedicated to social reformation, logic-based ethics and intellectual growth would remain a key priority for the present government.
