REASI, JANUARY 27: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Nidhi Malik today convened a consultative meeting with the Members of Legislative Assembly regarding formulation of annual development plan.
The meeting with MLA Shri Mata Vaishno Devi constituency Baldev Raj Sharma and MLA Gulabgarh constituency Khurshied Ahmad focused on seeking comprehensive details of priority development works in their respective constituencies to streamline planning for the upcoming fiscal year 2025-26.
After detailed discussions, the MLAs were invited to submit detailed proposals outlining essential and high-priority works, ensuring that the needs of the constituencies are adequately represented. The DDC emphasised the importance of aligning these initiatives with the overall development goals of the district while addressing the specific needs of local communities.
The DDC assured both the MLAs that their feasible and impactful suggestions would be thoroughly evaluated and integrated into the district’s development plan for 2025-26.
The meeting highlighted the commitment of the district administration to foster collaboration and transparency in planning, paving the way for effective and inclusive development in Reasi.
