Reasi admin hosts training programme on Census 2027

REASI, MAY 14: District Administration Reasi today organised an awareness-cum-training programme on Census 2027 and the forthcoming self-enumeration process here at the Conference Hall of the DC Office Complex.

The programme was aimed at sensitising officers and field functionaries regarding various aspects of Census 2027, with special focus on the online self-enumeration process, public outreach and coordinated implementation of census-related activities across the district.

Deputy Commissioner Kumar Abhishek interacted with the trainers and participants and underscored the significance of ensuring comprehensive public awareness for the successful conduct of Census 2027. He emphasised that effective dissemination of information among the general public is essential for achieving maximum participation in the online self-enumeration process.

The Deputy Commissioner directed the officers and trainers to ensure extensive awareness generation at the grassroots level so that every household is properly informed about the self-enumeration facility and its procedures. He stressed to cover each and every household during the enumeration process.

Highlighting the importance of inter-departmental coordination, the Deputy Commissioner instructed all departments and field-level functionaries to work in close coordination and maintain regular communication for timely and efficient implementation of Census 2027 activities in the district.

During the programme, the Master Trainer delivered a detailed PowerPoint presentation on various components of Census 2027 and provided comprehensive information regarding the online self-enumeration process, its objectives, operational framework and implementation procedures. The participants were also briefed about their roles and responsibilities in facilitating accurate data collection and ensuring effective execution of the census exercise across all areas of the district.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Kumar; Chief Planning Officer Narinder Kumar; Tehsildars of Reasi and Thakrakote; besides other concerned officers and officials were present on the occasion.
