Restoring constitutional guarantees not a matter of day, will take time: CM’s Advisor Nasir Wani

Srinagar, Oct 24 : The Jammu and Kashmir government on Thursday said it will take time to restore the constitutional guarantees, saying that it is not a work of a day and added that the start has been good.

Talking to the reporters in Kupwara, Advisor to J&K Chief Minister, Nasir Aslam Wani, as per the news agency, said that the government doesn’t want any confrontation and will pursue its mission of restoring the constitutional guarantees.

He also said that it’s not a matter of a day, but it will take time and the beginning has been good.

Wani also said that whatever the party has promised in its manifesto before forming the new government in Jammu and Kashmir, will be ensured, adding that the process has been already started.

He also reacted over the criticism after the chief minister’s meeting with the Union Home Minister, saying that when the CM will not meet the Prime Minister and Union Home Minister then whom shall he meet. “The start has been good as the Union Home Minister has been promised that the central government will with the J&K government to make J&K progressive,” he said
