SAMBA, DECEMBER 18: The District Administration Samba, under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Sharma, organized a Multi-Departmental Awareness Camp at Block Rajpura.
The awareness camp was aimed at empowering residents by promoting self-reliance and sustainable livelihoods launched by the government.
The event witnessed the presence of SDM Ghagwal, Tehsildar Rajpura and BDO Rajpura, along with a large number of local residents.
The Chief Agriculture Officer, Chief Horticulture Officer, Officers from Revenue Department and others, directly interacted with community members. They provided comprehensive details about government-sponsored schemes and programs, enabling citizens to harness these opportunities for their socio-economic upliftment.
The initiative underscored the administration’s commitment to grassroots-level development and good governance. By bringing departmental resources and expertise directly to the people, the camp served to bridge the information gap and create awareness about accessible government benefits.
