School timings revised in Kashmir Division from April 1

SRINAGAR, MAR 30: The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) issued an order revising school timings for all government and recognized private institutions in Kashmir division with effect from April 1.

As per the order, schools falling in the Srinagar municipal limits will now function from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Whereas the schools falling outside the municipal limits of the Srinagar district and other areas of Kashmir division will observe timings from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

The order, bearing number 119-DSEK of 2026 dated 30.03.2026 directs all the concerned institutions to strictly adhere to the revised timings without any deviation.
