Scooty Rider Killed After ‘Hit By JCB’ in Baramulla

Srinagar: A scooty-rider was killed after allegedly being hit by a JCB along Srinagar-Gulmarg highway on Monday evening.

An eyewitness to the incident told GNS that “a scooty-rider was hit by a JCB in Chechloora of Kunzer area, leaving him fatally injured.” The injured person was evacuated to a hospital, where the doctors declared him dead on arrival.

The deceased has been identified as Javid Ahmad Gojree son of Showkat Ahmad Gojree, resident of Aboora Kunzer.

A police official told GNS that a case has been registered into the incident to ascertain nature of the accident. (GNS)
