Gurez, May 07 (\: The Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Dawar in Gurez Valley has been shifted to its old building premises following official directions and administrative assessment.
According to a circular issued by the Office of the Block Medical Officer, Gurez, a copy of which lies with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the SDH was shifted after directions from the MLA Gurez and also in wake of operational considerations such as the availability of a functional operation theatre and a safety bunker at the old hospital premises.
The circular stated that all medical staff have been instructed to ensure timely and coordinated relocation of essential services, medical equipment and records.
