UDHAMPUR, MARCH 29: In a significant move to enhance voters participation in upcoming Lok Sabha Elections, SDM Ramnagar, Rafiq Ahamd Jaral, flagged off SVEEP Van, today.
The Van has been under the guidance of District Election Officer, Udhampur, Saloni Rai, under the aegis of SVEEP (Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation), which aims to reach out to the remote villages and hamlets of the Ramnagar Constituency.
The van, adorned with flexes displaying the messages on voting and the boys wearing mascots, dancing on the beats of election songs made its inaugural journey through Ramnagar Town before hosting a major gathering at the Ramnagar Bus Stand.
Around 300 individuals were present at the event addressed by the SDM Ramnagar, who called on the citizens to participate actively in the election process by casting their votes.
The people overwhelmingly welcomed the SVEEP van as the message of democratic participation resonated at their doorsteps. As the Lok Sabha Election approaches, the SVEEP van will continue to play a pivotal role in educating and motivating the electorates in Ramnagar and beyond.
