DODA, MARCH 16: A review meeting regarding the arrangements for the forthcoming festivals of Eid-ul-Fitr and Navratras was held today at Sub Divisional Headquarters Gandoh, The Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Arun Kumar Budyal chaired the meeting.
The SDM reviewed the preparedness of the stakeholder departments to ensure smooth and peaceful celebrations of the upcoming festivals. Emphasis was laid on maintaining essential services including electricity, drinking water supply, sanitation, traffic management and availability of essential commodities in the markets.
The SDM directed the concerned departments to remain alert and ensure that all necessary arrangements are put in place well in advance so that the public does not face any inconvenience during the festive days. He also stressed the importance of coordination among departments for effective implementation of the arrangements.
