RAMBAN, JULY 30: In continuation of the 5th anniversary of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the Education Department, in line with the initiative of the District Administration Ramban today organized a one-day seminar-cum-workshop at the Community Hall, Gool. The event was held under the supervision of Chief Education Officer (CEO) Mukhtar Ahmed.
The program, inaugurated by Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Imtiaz Ahmed, witnessed active participation from teachers, students, and resource persons from various educational institutions.
In his inaugural address, the SDM highlighted the significance of NEP 2020 and suggested a series of measures to ensure its efficient implementation in schools. He also encouraged teachers and students to take maximum benefit of the reforms introduced under the policy.
Various resource persons delivered informative sessions on the importance and achievements of NEP 2020 in the education sector, with a focus on holistic and inclusive learning.
The CEO elaborated on the key features of NEP 2020 and issued directions to the teaching fraternity for its effective execution at the grassroots level.
Students and teachers also presented various presentations highlighting different aspects and achievements of NEP 2020. The program concluded with an interactive session where teachers and students shared their views and suggestions, reaffirming their commitment towards strengthening the educational ecosystem in line with the objectives of NEP 2020.
