RAMBAN, SEPTEMBER 21: In continuation to the series of public welfare initiatives launched under the ongoing Sewa Parv, the District Administration Ramban, under the aegis of Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Alyas Khan, today organised two Specialized Health Camps at PHC Bhatni and NTPHC Digdole, along with two additional camps at AAM SC Tatapnai and AAM SC Asher under the ‘Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan’.
The health camps focused on screening and check-ups for Non-Communicable Diseases (Hypertension, Diabetes and Oral, Breast & Cervical Cancers), antenatal care (ANC) check-ups for pregnant women, screening for anaemia, and vaccination of children. Screening for Tuberculosis (T.B.) and enrolment of beneficiaries under the Nikshay Mitra initiative were also carried out.
Additionally, extensive counselling sessions were held on menstrual hygiene, nutrition, and various other health-related programmes to spread awareness at the grassroots level. Generation of AB-PMJAY and Vay Vandana Cards was also facilitated during the camps to ensure eligible beneficiaries could avail the benefits of health and social security schemes.
The initiative is aimed at ensuring accessible healthcare and promoting awareness among women and children, thereby furthering the objectives of Sewa Parv to deliver public welfare services directly to the people. Meanwhile, various departments also organised different activities to provide services at the doorsteps of citizens.
