JAMMU, NOVEMBER 24: Shiv Kumar Gupta today joined as Controller, Legal Metrology Department Jammu & Kashmir.

Upon taking charge, Shiv Kumar Gupta emphasized the department’s crucial responsibility in safeguarding consumer rights, ensuring accuracy in trade measurements and strengthening transparency across markets. He stressed swift grievances redressal and strict enforcement of Legal Metrology laws across the Union Territory.
