POONCH, JUNE 24: Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal today chaired a meeting to discuss the arrangements for the annual Shri Budha Amarnathji Yatra, scheduled to commence from July 27, 2025.

At the outset, Additional Deputy Commissioner Tahir Mustafa Malik briefed the participants on the preparations being made. He said the arrangements are being made as per the established protocols and past practices.

The meeting was attended by religious leaders, prominent citizens and local stakeholders. They underlined numerous requirements for smooth conduct of the yatra.

The concerned departments were asked to make arrangements for accommodation of yatris, provision of toilet and sanitation at base camps and halt points, medical aid, uninterrupted water and power supply, public address for announcements, transport and parking arrangements, sheds, overall cleanliness and other related facilities.

The Deputy Commissioner assured all stakeholders that the administration is committed to make the Shri Budha Amarnathji Yatra 2025 a peaceful, safe and well-managed spiritual experience for all pilgrims.
