RAJOURI, MARCH 28: The District Administration Rajouri is organizing special cluster-wise camps in Block Khawas to assess the saturation of government schemes and key performance indicators achieved under Aspirational Block Development Programme (ABDP).

The drive shall continue for the next three days across the block to achieve full saturation of beneficiary-oriented and social security schemes, besides strengthening livelihood generation initiatives and improving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) under the Aspirational Block Development Programme (ABDP).

The first camp was held today at Block Headquarter, which was chaired by Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Malikzada Sheraz ul Haq.

During the camp, threadbare discussions were held on bridging the gaps in NITI Aayog and UT-level indicators under ABDP. Emphasis was laid on ensuring 100 percent coverage of eligible beneficiaries under flagship Government schemes across health, education, nutrition, agriculture and social welfare sectors.

The ADDC stressed the importance of coordinated efforts among departments to enhance service delivery at the grassroots level. Officers were directed to intensify awareness campaigns, mobilize beneficiaries and ensure on-the-spot registration for different schemes during the camps.

These camps are being held as a part of preparation for the upcoming visit of the NITI team scheduled on April 2 and 3, 2026, to assess the ground-level impact of Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0.

All stakeholder departments were instructed to complete preparatory work in a time-bound manner and ensure visible outcomes on the ground.

Key services being provided at the camps include on-spot enrolment for different Government schemes, Aadhaar enrolment and updation, bank account opening and DBT linkage, delivery of health and nutrition services, grievances redressal, enrolment drives in schools and Anganwadi Centres, registration of pregnant women, ANC check-ups and eKYC.

The ADDC also conducted field visit to review the working of the BDO Office, PHC and Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV).

PO ICDS Harpal Singh; ACD Auqil Naveed; CMO Dr Manohar Lal Rana & Officers from Education, Agriculture, Horticulture, NRLM, Animal & Sheep Husbandry, Jal Shakti, RDD, Social Welfare, FCS&CA, Banking Institutions, CSCs and Aadhaar Services attended the camp and shared their action plans.

The District Administration reiterated its commitment to ensuring last-mile delivery of services and achieving saturation under all major welfare schemes in the Aspirational Block Khawas.
