PULWAMA, NOVEMBER 22: A Special Lok-Adalat for Criminal Compoundable cases was organized today in District Court and other sub-ordinate courts of District Pulwama under the Chairmanship of Chairman District Legal Services Authority (Pr. District & Sessions Judge), Pulwama, Malik Shabir Ahmad, and under the supervision of Secretary DLSA Pulwama, Mudasar Farooq.
By the concerted efforts of all presiding officers of all the courts, a total number of 108 cases were taken up by two benches in the district out of which 73 cases were amicably settled in the Lok-Adalat.
An amount of Rs.3.8 lakh was awarded as settlement amount.
