Special Lok Adalat settles 15 cases in Uri

BARAMULLA, AUGUST 20: A Special Lok Adalat was organized today at the Officers Club in Uri under the supervision of Fozia Paul, Chairperson, Tehsil Legal Services Committee and presided over by the Sub-Judge Uri.

A total of 50 cases were brought before the Special Lok Adalat, which primarily dealt with civil matters related to compensation. Of these, 15 cases were successfully settled on the spot, marking a significant achievement in the swift resolution of disputes.

The Special Lok Adalat highlighted the commitment of the legal services committee vis-a-vis providing accessible and efficient justice to the residents of Uri.
