Baramulla: A man killed in a road accident that took place in Tappar area of Pattan in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday evening.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the man identified as Farooq Ahmad Mir (41) son of Mohammad Sultan Mir of Choora village in Sopore was killed his vehicle was hit by a speedy Tipper in Pattan.
He said Mir died on the spot and his body was later taken to a hospital for medico-legal formalities.
“After completion of medico-legal medical formalities, the body was handed over to the family,”
He added a case has been registered, while have driver has been arrested and his vehicle has also been seized—(KNO)
