Sufficient stocks of essential commodities available in Poonch District: DC

POONCH, APRIL 4: Deputy Commissioner Poonch Ashok Kumar Sharma has reiterated that there is sufficient stock of essential commodities in the District, appealing the public not to panic.

Addressing a Press Conference here today, the Deputy Commissioner informed that there is sufficient stock of petrol, diesel, LPG and fertilizers (Urea, DAP etc) and smooth supply of the same is being ensured across the district.

Urging the public not to panic, he alerted the people against those spreading rumors. “Anyone spreading misinformation or creating panic among the public shall face strict action under the law,” he warned and advised the citizens to contact the Control Room if they have any doubts or require clarification regarding the availability of essential supplies.

Further, the Deputy Commissioner highlighted that the digitization of revenue records in the district is complete and the same are being double-checked by teams of senior officers at tehsil and district level. Citizens can check their records online on jkzameensudhar.jk.gov.in and file complaints on the same portal if they have any issues.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Tahir Mustafa Malik; Assistant Commissioner Revenue Muhammad Sayeed; Assistant Director FCS & CA, Adil Shabir were also present at the press conference.
