Tahoor, a local from Habba Kadal Srinagar, sharing his excitement, said summer in Srinagar wouldn’t be the same without the ice cream craze! There’s something magical about enjoying a scoop of ’Matka Kulfi’ amidst the hustle and bustle of Downtown.
Waseem, another local, adds, It’s not just about beating the heat; it’s about savoring the essence of Kashmiri hospitality. Ice cream brings people together, sparking conversations and creating cherished memories.
Amidst the flavors and aromas, Abdullah, a Kulfi seller, said, “the ‘Matka Kulfi’ is crafted with love and care, using age-old recipes passed down through generations.” He added, as the summer has just started, the sales are not so high, but they will go up as the day passes, and in the next two months, they will have a peak season. “As the heat wave starts to grip the valley, locals and tourists will flock to indulge in this seasonal delight,” he added
