UDHAMPUR, MARCH 26: District Administration Udhampur, under the guidance of District Election Officer, Udhampur Saloni Rai, and Deputy District Election Officer, Dr. Anirudh Rai, orchestrated a crucial awareness initiative as part of the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) campaign at ITI Institute Udhampur here today.
Dr. Preeti Sharma, District Panchayat Officer and designated Nodal Officer of SVEEP, led the session, enlightening participants on the significance of elections as cornerstone of democracy. She emphasized the pivotal role of active engagement in the electoral process for nurturing national growth and development.
Dr. Preeti reiterated the event’s mission to enlighten the participants about electoral process and the profound importance of exercising their voting rights in democratic setup.
Various speakers delivered lectures to motivate the students on maximum participation in elections besides cultural performances on importance of elections were also performed on the occasion.
