DODA, SEPTEMBER 30: On the 14th day of the ongoing Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar campaign, the Health Department Doda organized a series of health screening and awareness camps across multiple locations in the district.
The camps were successfully conducted at GHSS Chinta, village Katyara in Medical Block Bhaderwah and several other sites.
A wide range of health services were provided to the public including antenatal check-ups, screening for non-communicable diseases (NCDs), Tuberculosis (TB) screening, Hemoglobin (Hb) testing, vaccination for pregnant women and children, free diagnostic tests and distribution of free medicines.
In addition to clinical services, health education sessions were conducted on key topics such as personal hygiene, menstrual health management and proper hand washing practices.
The activities were held under the guidance of the Block Medical Officer, Dr Versha Sharma and overall supervision of the Chief Medical Officer Dr Om Kumar.
The initiative received enthusiastic participation from the local community reflecting increasing awareness about preventive healthcare. The Health Department reiterated its commitment to continuing such outreach programmes to ensure quality health services reach every corner of the district.
