POONCH, JUNE 23: “ swift and satisfactory action on public grievances is prime concern of the present dispensation”, stated Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment and Tribal Affairs, Javed Ahmed Rana, here today.

Interacting with the individuals and delegations at Mendhar, Rana listened to their concerns and grievances related to civic amenities, road connectivity, development, upgradation of health facilities and tribal welfare.

Rana emphasized that good governance and accountability are among top priorities of the government. The administration has accelerated the disposal of grievances at all levels to ensure speedy implementation of welfare programs and schemes. He assured the delegations that all their genuine grievances and demands would be looked into and necessary action would be taken by the concerned departments for redress.

The Minister issued on-the-spot directions for time-bound solutions to some of the cases, while in others, he asked the officers to furnish reports within a specified timeframe.

Rana directed the departmental heads to maintain responsiveness towards resolution of public issues, ensuring timely follow-up on projected concerns.
