Srinagar: An 18-year-old girl from Srinagar is set to publish her second book, Esoteric (Poetry) and is going to be released on Amazon, Kindle, Kobo, Google Play books and Flipkart.

The book is being published by JEC Publication.

Zabrain Wandroo, a resident of Khanyar who is student of Psychology at Amar Singh College Srinagar published her first book “Her Suicide Note” in 2021.

Talking to news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), she said that she has been writing poetry for 2-3 years and described her passion.

Wandroo said that in her 64 page second book, she has written 47 poems which were mainly her thoughts and memories that she has been unable to share with anyone.

The author has received an appreciation award from India Book Of Records for her first book at the age of 16.

She is a naturalist and a firm believer of Islam and she finds solace in gaining and sharing knowledge.

Wandroo said that she is an avid reader which has induced the passion of writing in her and her aim in life is to work for society and become a successful author.

“My main motive behind publishing this work is to show people that writing is a way to empty your mind from stress and share the thoughts which we are usually unable to speak about.” she said, adding” A lot of people usually find it difficult to share their problems with others and this stress eats them up from inside and  writing it down can possibly help one to stress less and feel better.”

A person should share his/her knowledge because if a person leaves this world, their knowledge will stay alive,” she said, adding that she strongly believes that culture defines a person and one should always entertain it’s culture no matter how low or high they are in life.

“My message to the youth of J&K will be that be strong in each and every situation and never let depression and other things decide your fate,” she said—(KNO)
