Srinagar: Police on Friday said that two non-locals received minor injuries in a grenade blast in Aglar Zainapora area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district.
“Militants lobbed grenade at Aglar Zainapora, resulting in minor injuries to two non locals,” police said in a tweet, adding, “Area has been cordoned off”.
A police officer told GNS that both the injured have been shifted to nearby hospital for treatment where their condition is stated to be stable, the officer said. He said a case has been registered in this regard and investigation taken up. The blast comes a day after a bank manager from Rajasthan and a brick kiln labourer were killed in Kulgam and Budam districts of the Kashmir Valley. (GNS)
