Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir police Thursday said that two clerics and five Jamaat-e-Islami activists have been arrested and booked under public safety act (PSA).
Talking to news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), a senior police official said that two religious preachers Moulana Abdur Rashid Dawoodi and Moulana Mushtaq Ahmed Veeri from South Kashmir and five Jamaat-e-Islami activists were arrested and booked under PSA. Reasons for the arrest of two religious preachers and five JeI activists were not known immediately—(KNO)
