UDHAMPUR, NOVEMBER 18: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai, today chaired a meeting of the District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) under the Mission YUVA scheme.
The meeting was convened to evaluate, screen and approve applications seeking loan assistance across different categories, including the Nano and MSME sectors and to review the overall progress of scheme implementation in the district.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, Jugal Kishore; GM DIC, Kishore Singh Katoch; Deputy Director Employment, Mohinder Sharma; Assistant Director Employment, Priyanka Gupta; DSWO, Kanika Gupta, representatives from the banking sector and other concerned officers.
After detailed scrutiny and deliberations, the Committee approved 236 cases for financial assistance under Mission YUVA. The DC emphasized the need to accelerate the implementation process through coordinated efforts of the stakeholder departments.
The LDM was directed to ensure prompt processing and timely disbursement of all sanctioned loan cases. The DC also instructed Colleges and NRLM to expedite the registration of students and Self-Help Groups under the Mission YUVA scheme. Besides, SDMs were directed to verify applications meticulously to prevent unnecessary rejections.
