Bandipora:- Krishi Vigyan Kendra Bandipora poudly announces the successful culmination of its six-month vocational training programme on Cutting and Tailoring.
The valedictory programme, held on at KVK Bandipora was a celebration of the achievements and skills acquired by the participants during the intensive training period.
The vocational training programme, designed and executed by the Kendra for the tribal youth, aimed to empower rural youth with practical skills in cutting and tailoring, providing them with the knowledge and expertise to pursue careers in the thriving fashion and textile industry.
Participants underwent comprehensive training modules covering fundamental and advanced techniques in cutting and tailoring. The programme focused on equipping individuals with the skills necessary to create a wide range of garments.
The training included practical sessions where participants had the opportunity to apply their knowledge and hone their cutting and tailoring skills under the guidance of experienced instructors.
The valedictory programme featured a formal certification ceremony where participants were awarded certificates of completion, recognizing their dedication and successful completion of the vocational training programme.
Chief Guest of the function Prof Dil Mohammad Makhdoomi, Director Extension said that Skills are fundamental to securing employment and continuous skill development enhances adaptability to changing job market demands.
