UDHAMPUR, JANUARY 10: The week-long edition 5th Badminton tournament organized by the Den of Shuttlers Club, Udhampur, concluded here at Mini Stadium amidst great enthusiasm and fervor.
Deputy Commissioner Saloni Rai graced the occasion as the chief guest, while District Youth Services and Sports Officer Romesh Chander Mishra was the guest of honour.
Addressing the gathering, the DC congratulated the participants for their spirited performances and commended the Den of Shuttlers Club for organizing such a vibrant event promoting sports in the district. She emphasized the importance of sports in fostering discipline, teamwork and physical fitness among youth.
The DC advised them to stay away from drugs and focus on building a healthy and productive lifestyle.
Later, the chief guest gave away trophies and certificates to the winners and runners-up.
